Today in History

On Dec. 4, 1945, the Senate approved U.S. participation in the United Nations. This might be the biggest mistake in U.S. History. Now its like we have to ask our mommy if we can go to war.

2000 A Florida state judge refused to overturn Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush's certified victory in Florida, and the U.S. Supreme Court set aside a ruling that had allowed manual recounts. Just think, Al Gore could have been president. How scary would that have been?
